About Me

I am Hanad, an aspiring and dedicated IT professional with a strong foundation in system administration, IT support, and infrastructure management. My journey in Information Technology began in 2021, where I started with hands-on tasks such as computer hardware troubleshooting, Windows installation, software configuration, and data backup. Over the years, I have developed my skills through both practical experience and professional training. I earned the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and completed courses such as Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking through Coursera. Additionally, I completed a Diploma in System Administration at Hurbad Institute of Technology (2024–2025).

I have hands-on experience working with modern IT systems including Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, Red Hat Linux, and Microsoft 365 environments. My technical knowledge also includes certifications and learning paths such as AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-800/801, CompTIA A+, and Linux administration. Professionally, I worked for two years (2023–2025) at Safa Electronics as a hardware technician and sales specialist, where I handled laptop and desktop repair, troubleshooting, and customer support. This experience strengthened both my technical and communication skills. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (ICT) at Rift Valley University (2024–2027), while also working as a freelancer, providing IT support and system solutions independently. I am based in Hargeisa, Somaliland, and bring a multicultural background, having grown up in Ethiopia. I am passionate about continuous learning and committed to delivering reliable, efficient, and secure IT solutions.
